The Kansas City Chiefs have started and ended there season in Phoenix, with the same outcome in both games. The Chiefs opened their season with a big victory over the Arizona Cardinals here at State Farm Stadium, and ended it with a 38-35 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles at the same stadium in the Super Bowl. There was a late penalty call near the goal line with under 3 minutes to play, and that all-but sealed the victory for the Chiefs. Mahomes and company have earned there second Super Bowl, and the third for the franchise. Mahomes was wincing in pain at the end of the first half, but then was able to orchestrate a 24-14 comeback to bring the Lombardi Trophy back to Kansas City. Next season, the Eagles will hope to have another turn in the Super Bowl but win, while the Chiefs look ahead to the off-season after hoisting the Lombardi Trophy.
