Cubs, Swanson Agree On 7 Year Deal

The Chicago Cubs have finally made their headlining move. Dansby Swanson and the Cubs have agreed on a 7 year 177 million dollar deal. Swanson had an average of .277 with and OPS of .776. He has hit a total of 102 homers in his career, as 52 of them have come in the past two years. This will move Nico Horner back to second base, as Swanson will take over shortstop. Swanson provides a good bat, and is a reigning Gold Glove winner. Swanson also has World Series experience, along with newly signed Cody Bellinger. In addition to that, the Cubs have signed Brad Boxberger and Jameson Tailon, however Dansby Swanson has definitely been their biggest signing.
