The Houston Texans will host a playoff game just 1 year after being the 2nd worst team in the NFL. CJ Stroud and Houston will look to defeat Joe Flacco and the Cleveland Browns in Houston in Primetime. The Texans have played all but 1 of their games in the 1:00 PM ET slot this year. There only other game was on Saturday Night, where they defeated the Colts to clinch the playoffs. The Jaguars would lose the next day, and give the Texans the 4 seed. The Cleveland Browns are a playoff game favorite for the 1st time since 1994! Cleveland had a magical season, with 4 different quarterbacks who started for them at some point in the season. Cleveland has been in the playoffs 1 time in the last 20 years before this season. Back in week 16, Flacco and the Browns beat the Texans 36-22. Flacco threw for 348 yards, and 3 touchdowns. Amari Cooper set a franchise record in that game with 265 receiving yards in that one. The Texans were without CJ Stroud in that game however, so Davis Mills got the start. Mills completed only about 46% of his passes, and the Houston offense never really took off. I expect this game to be a game that is won throwing the ball. I think that both quarterbacks will end up throwing for over 300 passing yards in this one.I think that Houston will edge out the victory in this one, as there passing attack will be very good. I think that CJ Stroud will orchestrate a game-winning drive to win this one.
