Week 13 of the NFL season is here! We have some big games with big playoff implications.
Buccaneers (5-7) @ Falcons (6-6) - Sunday, Dec. 10 - 1:00 PM ET
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will head to Atlanta, to take on the Atlanta Falcons in a huge NFC South matchup. The Falcons are currently sitting at the top of the NFC South standings, but only have a 1 game lead over everyone except the Panthers. The Buccaneers and the Saints are 5-7 right now, and the winner will get the heavily wanted number 4 spot in the NFC playoffs race, and to be able to host the number 5 seed in the NFC.
Game Pick:
Buccaneers 37 Falcons 27
Colts (7-5) @ Bengals (6-6) - Sunday, Dec. 10 - 1:00 PM ET
The Indianapolis Colts will head to Ohio, to take on Jake Browning and the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals are coming in off of a surprisingly strong performance with Browning looking like a reallly good quarterback in their game on Monday Night. They pulled out with a victory over the Jaxonville Jaguars. Indianapolis was also able to get an overtime victory last week, as they got an epic victory. This game could end up being very important in the playoff picture later on in the season.
Game Pick:
Colts 31 Bengals 34
Jaguars (8-4) @ Browns (7-5) - Sunday, Dec. 10 - 1:00 PM ET
The Jaxonville Jaguars will head to Cleveland, where they will take on the Cleveland Browns and Myles Garrett. Both of these squads are pretty good, but both took losses last week. Jacksonville was so close to being able to get a victory on Monday Night Football, but hey lost in overtime to the Cincinnati Bengals. The Rams played pretty solid last week, and were able to beat Cleveland. Both teams will try to bounce back in this big game.
Game Pick:
Jaguars 31 Browns 21
Texans (7-5) @ Jets (4-8) - Sunday, Dec. 10 - 1:00 PM ET
The Houston Texans, and CJ Stroud come off of a good performance last week, as they take on the New York Jets and Zach Wilson. I personally do not expect Aaron Rodgers to come back this season, as the Jets are completely out of the playoff picture, and do not look like they're gonna be making a push anytime soon. I expect CJ Stroud to have a solid performance in this game, as the Texans will prove that they have a chance to be a very effective, and dangerous team if they make the playoffs this season.
Game Pick:
Texans 37 Jets 17
Rams (6-6) @ Ravens (9-3) - Sunday, Dec. 9 - 1:00 PM ET
The Los Angeles Rams find themselves back in the playoff picture after getting a victory last week over the Cleveland Browns. This week will be much harder opponent from the AFC North however, as the ravens walking with nine wins on the year. The ravens are currently tied for first place in the AFC, and I do expect them to walk away with a win in this one, but it will not be a complete blowout, and they will not in the season as first in the AFC.
Game Pick
Rams 24 Ravens 30
Lions (9-3) @ Bears (4-8) - Sunday, Dec. 10 - 1:00 PM ET
The Detroit Lions will head to Soldier Field, to take on the Chicago Bears and Justin Fields on Sunday afternoon. I expect this game to be very high scoring, as DJ Moore and Amin-Ra St. Brown to both have a good game in this one, with at least one each. I think that both of the teams will be able to keep this game exciting, but Detriot will be able to get the victory in this one. This is going to propel the Lions to a good playoff spot.
Game Pick
Lions 31 Bears 28
Panthers (1-11) @ Saints (5-7) - Sunday, Dec. 10 - 1:00 PM ET
The Carolina Panthers and Bryce Young will head to New Orleans, where they will take on a Saints squad that is looking to take over the NFC South. I expect this game to be a very close one, as the Panthers will look like they have a shot to pull out as a winner in this game, but will ultimately fall short of that late in this game. I expect Zain's office to have a pretty good game in this one, and will ultimately be able to capitalize when it matters late in the game.
Game Pick:
Panthers 6 Saints 13
Broncos (6-6) @ Chargers (5-7) - Sunday, Dec. 10 - 4:25 PM ET
The Denver Broncos and Russell Wilson will head to Los Angeles, to take on Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers. I expect this game to get very wild towards the end of it, and will ultimately need Russell Wilson to have a last minute game winning drive to win the game for Denver. I think that he will not be able to convert this, however, and the charges will prove that they have a potential shot to be a playoff team this year. If this does happen, the Broncos will most likely be out of the playoff picture, and the Chargers will insert themselves in.
Game Pick:
Broncos 31 Chargers 34
Bills (6-6) @ Chiefs (8-4) - Sunday, Dec. 10 - 4:25 PM ET
Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs will host Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in a huge matchup for the AFC Playoffs. The Bills currently sit at the 11 seed, and with a win they would potentially get them back into the running for a spot. The Chiefs are the 3 seed, but have lost 3 of their last 5 games this season. I expect the Bills to get an early lead in this one, and the Bills will use the air a lot, and will run away with a win.
Game Pick:
Chiefs 27 Bills 37
