Game Previews - Week 3’s Sunday Slate

Week three of the NFL season is here! We have a ton of exciting matchups to go over for the games on September 24.

Colts (1-1) @ Ravens (2-0) - Sunday, Sept. 24 - 1:00 PM ET

The Indianapolis Colts look to get over .500 for the first time this season, as they head to Baltimore to take on Lamar Jackson and the Ravens. Gardner Minshew will get the start the Colts this week, as Anthony Richardson is injured. I expect the Ravens to play a good game on both sides of the ball, And for their quarterback, Lamar Jackson, to play very well. I think that if they can do a solid job, stopping the Colts run game, they should be able to win.

Game Pick:

Colts 17 Ravens 31

Titans (1-1) @ Browns (1-1) - Sunday, Sept. 24 - 1:00 PM ET

Ryan Tannehill and the Tennessee Titans, will head to Ohio to take on the Cleveland Browns. Watson and the Browns failed to get a win last week, after a promising victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in week one. I expect the Titans offense to be very effective, by catching the Bengals off guard, with some nice play action calls. If the Browns want a win after Nick Chubbs injury, Kareem Hunt will have to perform well in his first game this season as a Brown.

Game Pick:

Titans 27 Browns 20

Broncos (0-2) @ Dolphins (2-0) - Sunday, Sept. 24 - 1:00 PM ET

Tua Tagovailoa is looking like a MVP so far in the season, as the Miami Dolphins will host Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos on Sunday. Absolutely dominate in this match up, with Tua throwing for over 300 yards once again this year. As for the Broncos, I expect him to not be able to efficient until late in the fourth quarter when the game does not matter, because the Dolphins have already put it out of reach.

Game Pick:

Broncos 10 Dolphins 37

Patriots (0-2) @ Jets (1-1) - Sunday, Sept. 24 - 1:00 PM ET

Mac Jones and the New England Patriots will look to get their first win of the season this weekend in East Rutherford, as they take on the Jets. Zach Wilson will hopefully have a better game than last week, as they got crushed by Micah Parsons and the Dallas Cowboys. How do you practice to be a very low scoring contest, but I think the game that can run the ball most effectively, setting up other young quarterbacks in the passing game, will find a way to win.

Game Pick:

Patriots 13 Jets 16

Bills (1-1) @ Commanders (2-0) - Sunday, Sept. 24 - 1:00 PM ET

Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills will take on the Washington Commanders this weekend at FedEx Field. Josh Allen won the AFC's offensive playoff of the week last Sunday, as he had an amazing performance against the Las Vegas Raiders last weekend. I think that this weekend will be no different, and Alan will be able to have an amazing game, picking through the Commanders defense. The Commanders have had 2 tight wins, with last week's come from behind win against the Broncos.

Game Pick:

Bills 37 Commanders 24

Falcons (2-0) @ Lions (1-1) - Sunday, Sept. 24 - 1:00 PM ET

The undefeated Atlanta Falcons will head into the motor city, to take on Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions. The Lions lost last week in heartbreaking fashion, as the Seahawks beat them in overtime. As for the Atlanta Falcons, they were able to get their second win of the season against the Packers, as they are currently undefeated and look to keep it that way. I expect this to be a hard fight battle, but ultimately Bijan Robinson will have a late carry that goes for a touchdown, giving the Falcons a 3-0 start.

Game Pick

Falcons 27 Lions 24

Saints (2-0) @ Packers (1-1) - Sunday, Sept. 24 - 1:00 PM ET

Jordan Love and the Packers will look to follow up their heartbreaking loss last week against the Atlanta Falcons, as they host Derek Carr and the New Orleans Saints. Love has been solid, and looks like he could be the Packers starting quarterback for years to come. I think the dirt cars in absolutely torch, the Packers secondary, despite how well they played against quarterbacks. I still think, however, that the Packers will find a way to get the ball to Aaron Jones when they really need to, and win this game.

Game Pick:

Saints 21 Packers 27

Texans (0-2) @ Jaguars (1-1) - Sunday, Sept. 24 - 1:00 PM ET

CJ Stroud and the Texans will head to Jacksonville, to take on Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars. I expect them to rebound after last week's disappointing offensive performance against the Kansas City Chiefs. I think that their defense did an amazing job holding Patrick Mahomes and company to a low scoring game, But the office could not capitalize. I think that if Lawrence can get the ball out of his hand quickly and effectively, this should be an easy win for the Jags.

Game Pick:

Texans 13 Jaguars 31

Chargers (0-2) @ Vikings (0-2) - Sunday, Sept. 24 - 1:00 PM ET

After both the Chargers and the Vikings made the playoffs last year, they've both started the season off the two losses, and games that they believe they should have each one. Justin Herbert has played amazing in his games this season, but is team has been unable to win. Similarly, Kirk cousins has over 700 yards already this year, but his team has started out the season poorly. I expect the Chargers to have the upper hand in this game, and they have the better defense and a good chance to win.

Game Pick:

Chargers 41 Vikings 24

Panthers (0-2) @ Seahawks (1-1) - Sunday, Sept. 24 - 4:05 PM ET

Geno Smith and the Seattle Seahawks come off of their crazy matchup against the Detroit Lions, with a game against the Carolina Panthers. Bryce Young is currently injured, so Andy Dalton will be the starter for the Panthers in this game. I expect the Seahawks defense to amazing, and Dalton will have very limited time to throw the ball, due to the Seahawks pressure. I think Geno Smith will have a great game, and the Seahawks will have an easy victory to get them back over .500.

Game Pick:

Panthers 16 Seahawks 34

Cardinals (0-2) @ Cowboys (2-0) - Sunday, Sept. 24 - 4:25 PM ET

Josh Dobbs and the Arizona Cardinals will take on Dak Prescott and Dallas Cowboys in week three of the NFL season. I expect the Cowboys to have another dominant game, and they've had two blowouts to start the season. The Cowboys would be without Trevon Diggs for the rest of the season, as he has torn his ACL. Diggs was one of the best corners in the NFL, and I expected him to potentially win defensive player of the year. I still expect the Cowboys to dominate the Cardinals, and move to three wins on the season.

Game Pick:

Cardinals 9 Cowboys 37

Bears (0-2) @ Chiefs (1-1) - Sunday, Sept. 24 - 4:25 PM ET

Justin Fields and the Chicago Bears will head to Kansas City, as they will take on Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs on America's Game of the Week. Bears defensive coordinator, Alan Williams, resigned this week after missing last weeks game. Matt Eberflus, will call plays, just the way he did in last weeks game. I expect the Chiefs office to dominate the Bears defense, ultimately putting them ahead early, and never looking back.

Game Pick:

Bears 17 Chiefs 27
