Game Previews - Week 4’s Sunday Slate

Week four of the NFL season is here! We have a ton of great games to see this weekend!

Falcons (2-1) @ Jaguars (1-2) - Sunday, Oct. 1 - 9:30 AM ET (London Series)

Bijan Robinson and the Atlanta Falcons head to London, to take on Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium. So far the season, the Falcons office has been averaging 128.3 rushing yards per game, but have only been averaging 184.3 passing yards per game. I expect this trend continue, Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier to run through the Jacksonville defense, making their day tough. If Jacksonville wants to be able to win, Trevor Lawrence will have to be effective through the air, but Travis Etienne will also have to do his part on the ground.

Game Pick:

Falcons 30 Jaguars 24

Dolphins (3-0) @ Bills (2-1) - Sunday, Oct. 1 - 1:00 PM ET

Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins head to Buffalo to take on the Bills after scoring 70 points last weekend against the Denver Broncos. Both are Dolphins running backs played amazing in the game, with Raheem Mostert, and De'Von Achane had 8 touchdowns combined! I don't expect him to score that much this game, but I do expect Achane to have a very large role. Also, the Bills beat the Commanders 37-3 last weekend, as they have won their last two games. I expect us to be a very competitive game, but whatever team can run the ball more effectively, will set up their star quarterback in the passing game, ultimately winning.

Game Pick:

Dolphins 31 Bills 37

Broncos (0-3) @ Bears (0-3) - Sunday, Oct. 1 - 1:00 PM ET

Russell Wilson, the Denver Broncos will head to Soldier Field, to take on Justin Fields and the Chicago Bears in a battle of winless teams. The Broncos gave up 70 points last weekend to the Miami Dolphins, and the Bears didn't do as bad, but it wasn't pretty at all, as the Chiefs beat them down 41-10. I expect Justin Fields to use his legs a lot more in this game, and the Broncos to also lean on the rushing game, but for the Broncos to narrowly beat the Bears.

Game Pick:

Broncos 27 Bears 24

Ravens (2-1) @ Browns (2-1) - Sunday, Oct. 1 - 1:00 PM ET

The Baltimore Ravens will look to rebound after their overtime loss against the Colts last week. I expect them to have an easy match up against the Cleveland Browns, but the Browns have been playing pretty well recently. In the first game without Nick Chubb, they were able to rout the Titans by 24 points, as they proved that Kareem Hunt is more than capable of filling the role as a running back. Deshaun Watson is questionable for this game, but he's probably gonna play.

Game Pick:

Ravens 31 Browns 16

Steelers (2-1) @ Texans (1-2) - Sunday, Oct. 1 - 1:00 PM ET

Kenny Pickett and the Pittsburgh Steelers will look to keep their three game winning streak going, as they head to Houston to take on the Texans. The Texans got their first win of the season last week, as they shocked the Jacksonville Jaguars. I expected luck to run out this week, as they face a very well-rounded Steeler squad. I expect Pickett to have a field day against the Texans secondary, as he is very good at pinpointing the ball, and the Texans defense is not very good.

Game Pick:

Steelers 31 Texans 17

Vikings (0-3) @ Panthers (0-3) - Sunday, Oct. 1 - 1:00 PM ET

Two winless teams will meet in Carolina for a showdown between the Minnesota Vikings and the Carolina Panthers. The Vikings were considered to be one of the best teams in the NFL last year before the postseason, but this year they have taken a unprecedented turn. They have lost their first three games of the season, and their ball security is a huge mess. I expect them to play a very good game of football this week against Bryce Young and the Panthers, and earn their first win of the year.

Game Pick

Vinking 27 Panthers 17

Rams (1-2) @ Colts (2-1) - Sunday, Oct. 1 - 1:00 PM ET

Matthew Stafford and Los Angeles Rams will look to end their two game losing streak in Indianapolis, as they take on the Colts. Last week, the Colts are in the second victory of the season by shocking the Baltimore Ravens. Their quarterback, Anthony Richardson was inactive for that game, But he will be able to make his return for this game. He was out due to concussion protocol, but he was cleared this week. I expect his return to help the Colts get a shocking third victory, and look ahead to potentially making a run at the postseason.

Game Pick:

Rams 6 Colts 24

Buccaneers (2-1) @ Saints (2-1) - Sunday, Oct. 1 - 1:00 PM ET

Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers well, up to go to New Orleans and steal a victory from the Saints. In last weeks game for New Orleans, they had a 17 point lead, but then they blew it. Their main quarterback, Derek Carr is questionable, but doesn't look good after a bad injury last weekend. If he doesn't play, Jameis Winston will get the start against his former team. If he does play, I expect it to be a close game, otherwise, the Buccaneers will blow out the Saints.

Game Pick:

Buccaneers 31 Saints 13

Commanders (2-1) @ Eagles (3-0) - Sunday, Oct. 1 - 1:00 PM ET

Sam Howell will look to lead the Commanders to a 3 win start, but it won't be easy as they take on the unbeaten Eagles. The Commanders won their first two games of the season, but then they got blown out 37-3 by Josh Allen's Bills. As for the Eagles, they have played well, and have a +28 point differential this season. D'Andre Swift has 102.7 yards per carry so far this year. I expect that trend to continue, as they will absolutely dominate the Commanders.

Game Pick:

Comanders 7 Eagles 41

Bengals (1-2) @ Titans (1-2) - Sunday, Oct. 1 - 1:00 PM ET

Joe Burrow and the Bengals come off of the first win of the season, after last week's victory on Monday Night Football, will try to get to .500, as they take on the Tennessee Titans. Burrow fed the ball to Ja'Marr Chase most of the night, and he had 141 yards on 12 catches. I expect similar production from him this week, as I expect the Bengals to be able to stop Derrick Henry in the running game, and get one interception, at least from Ryan Tannehill. I also expect Joe Burrow to have a clean game with no interceptions, as the Bengals win.

Game Pick:

Bengals 27 Titans 20

Raiders (1-2) @ Chargers (1-2) - Sunday, Oct. 1 - 4:05 PM ET

Justin Herbert and the Chargers host the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders Will be without Jimmy Garoppolo, they will have to go with either Aidan, O'Connell or Brian Hoyer. I expect the Chargers to be a good team this year, despite a lackluster start. Herbert has played pretty good this year, and the Chargers played a good all-around game last weekend against the Minnesota Vikings. I expect him to do a very similar job this weekend against the Raiders, getting them back up to .500.

Game Pick:

Raiders 20 Chargers 31

Patriots (1-2) @ Cowboys (2-1) - Sunday, Oct. 1 - 4:25 PM ET

The Dallas Cowboys will look to rebound after a lackluster performance last week against the Arizona Cardinals. They have a good opponent to do it against, as they take on the New England Patriots. I expect the Cowboys office to absolutely torture the Patriots defense this weekend, lighting them up for over 400 total yards. How do you like that Prescott to contribute at least 250 of those, and a rushing touchdown. If this happens, the Cowboys will Rout the Patriots.

Game Pick:

Patriots 17 Cowboys 38

Cardinals (1-2) @ 49ers (3-0) - Sunday, Oct. 1 - 4:25 PM ET

The unbeaten San Francisco 49ers will look to move to 4-0 on the young season, as they take on Josh Dobbs, and the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals were able to get their first win of the season last week against the Dallas Cowboys, as they shocked the world beating them 28-16. I don't expect them to be able to keep up that this week, as they take on one of if not the best team in the NFL. I expect Christian McCaffrey to run through their secondary, and Brock Purdy to tear it apart in the passing game, as the 49ers have an easy victory.

Game Pick:

Cardinals 3 49ers 47
