Game Previews - Week 7’s Sunday Slate

Week seven of the NFL season is here! We have some exciting matchups, as we take a break from international play.

Browns (3-2) @ Colts (3-3) - Sunday, Oct. 22 - 1:00 PM ET

Gardner Minshew will be the new starting quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts this year, as he takes on Jerome Ford and the Cleveland Browns. Cleveland is unsure of if Deshaun Wastson of PJ Walker will be starting in this one. Cleveland was able to knock off the undefeated San Francisco 49ers last week, as they have currently got a winning record. I think that this game will end up being a blowout, and Cleveland will win.

Game Pick:

Browns 27 Colts 10

Bills (4-2) @ Patriots (1-5) - Sunday, Oct. 22 - 1:00 PM ET

Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills come off of a narrow victory over Tyrod Taylor and the New York Giants, as they take on the New England Patriots, and Mac Jones. I expect a Buffalo win by over 20 points, as New England is a team that is falling apart ever since Tom Brady left. I think that Josh Allen will have 300 or more yards, and New England's Mac Jones will be benched, and won't be starting next weekend.

Game Pick:

Bills 37 Patriots 6

Commanders (3-3) @ Giants (1-5) - Sunday, Oct. 22 - 1:00 PM ET

Tyrod Taylor and the New York Gaints will host Sam Howell and the Washington Commanders at MetLife Stadium on Sunday. I'm game to be very close, but ultimately they will be a game of siding drive for New York, in which they will turn the ball over, giving Washington the win. I expect a very low scoring, heavy rushing attack game plan from both squads. I think that the Giants will not even be close to making the playoffs this year, and will be trying to get a good draft pick.

Game Pick:

Commanders 16 Giants 13

Lions (5-1) @ Ravens (4-2) - Sunday, Oct. 22 - 1:00 PM ET

Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions will look to continue their surprisingly good season, as the head into Baltimore to take on Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens. The last time the Ravens and the Lions played, Justin Tucker, set a record, with the longest kick in NFL history. I expect a lot of passing this game, with both quarterbacks time for multiple touchdowns. I think it will be a high scoring showdown, but Detroit will find a way to win.

Game Pick:

Lions 37 Ravens 34

Raiders (3-3) @ Bears (1-5) - Sunday, Oct. 22 - 1:00 PM ET

Tyson Bagent and the Chicago Bears host Brian Hoyer and the Las Vegas Raiders, in a battle of backup quarterbacks. Vegas is on a two game win streak, but is without star quarterback, Jimmy Garoppolo due to a back injury. Justin Fields, hurt his thumb last week, so Tyson Bagent will make the start for Chicago. I expect both squads to lean on their run games a lot, which is why Las Vegas will get the win.

Game Pick

Raiders 24 Bears 17

Falcons (3-3) @ Buccaneers (3-2) - Sunday, Oct. 22 - 1:00 PM ET

Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers look to get back to the winning ways, after last weeks loss to the Detroit Lions, as they host Desmond Ridder and the Atlanta Falcons. Ridder threw three interceptions last week, with one coming late in the game, which ended up costing Atlanta the game. I think Tampa Bay will win this one by fairly decent margin, as Baker Mayfield has a perfect game through the air.

Game Pick:

Falcons 17 Buccaneers 31

Steelers (3-2) @ Rams (3-3) - Sunday, Oct. 22 - 4:05 PM ET

Keeny Pickett and the Pittsburgh Steelers will take on put on the Puka Nacua and the Los Angeles Rams. I think Puka will have a big game, despite Cooper Kupp being back for the second straight week. Puka already has 598 yards on the year, and I expect that to continue this game. Pickett will throw for at least 275 yards, as this will be super high scoring. I would be surprised if under 50 points scored in this game.

Game Pick:

Steelers 31 Rams 37

Cardinals (1-5) @ Seahawks (3-2) - Sunday, Oct. 22 - 4:05 PM ET

Josh Dobbs and the Arizona Cardinals will host Geno Smith and the Seattle Seahawks in week seven of the NFL season. Seattle is coming off of a loss to Cincinnati, but I expect them to get right back in the win column. As for Arizona, they got blown out by the Los Angeles Rams last weekend. Arizona is on a three game skid, and I expected to continue as Seattle will absolutely dominate this one.

Game Pick:

Cardinals 10 Seahawks 34

Packers (2-3) @ Broncos (1-5) - Sunday, Oct. 22 - 4:25 PM ET

The Green Bay Packers look to get back to even on the year, as they take on Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos in the late window on Sunday afternoon. I expect Jordan Love to have his best game as a Green Bay Packer in this one, as Green Bay steamrolls Denver, as the Broncos hope to get a very good draft pick at the end of this year. Denver has lost their last two games, and I don't expect him to win another game until way later in the year.

Game Pick:

Packers 37 Broncos 13

Chargers (2-3) @ Chiefs (5-1) - Sunday, Oct. 15 - 4:25 PM ET

Justin Herbert and the Chargers look to upset, Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs, as they play each other for the first time this year. I think this game to be a lot closer than people think, with Los Angeles coming out on top in this one! Justin Herbert will have an amazing day, and it will all come down to the game-winning drive for him, which he will finally complete. The Chargers have been awful so far, but I put this to be their big break, as they get a win in this one.

Game Pick:

Chargers 24 Chiefs 20
