Game Previews: Week 9’s Sunday Slate

Week nine of the NFL season is here! We have some intriguing matchups, as we have passed the trade deadline.

Seahawks (5-2) @ Ravens (6-2) - Sunday, Nov. 5 - 1:00 PM ET

Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens host Geno Smith and the Seattle Seahawks in Baltimore. I expect this game to be a dominant blowout, as Seattle shouldn't be having as good of a season as they are. Seattle has two game win streak, and Baltimore has 3 straight wins coming into this game. I expect an easy victory for Baltimore, as Lamar Jackson will have an exciting and an electric game.

Game Pick:

Seahawks 17 Ravens 27

Cardinals (1-7) @ Browns (4-3) - Sunday, Nov. 5 - 1:00 PM ET

The Arizona Cardinals and Clayton Tune will head to Cleveland, as they take on Deshaun Watson in Watson's return. I expect this one to be an easy game for Cleveland, as Arizona will fall down to 1-8. I expect Clayton Tune to have an okay first start, but will throw at least one interception. I expect the Browns defense to eat him alive, as they will get at least 5 sacks, and over 12 pressures. If all this happens, it will not be close.

Game Pick:

Cardianls 7 Browns 37

Buccaneers (3-4) @ Texans (3-4) - Sunday, Nov. 5 - 1:00 PM ET

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will head to Houston, as they take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. CJ Stroud will try to outdual Baker Mayfield in this one, and I think he will be able to do a pretty solid job. I expect Houston to have a surprising lead at halftime. I think CJ Stroud will be able to throw for 300 yards, and prove that he will be a good quarterback in the NFL. I think Houston pulls off a shocking win, and move to .500 on the year.

Game Pick:

Buccaneers 24 Texans 27

Bears (2-6) @ Saints (4-4) - Sunday, Nov. 5 - 1:00 PM ET

Tyson Bagent and the Chicago Bears will head to New Orleans, to take on Derek Carr and the New Orleans Saints. I expect this one to be a pretty close one, but I think New Orleans will be able to pull out late in the game. The Saints are right in the mix to win the NFC South, but the Chicago Bears are nowhere near making the playoffs. Last week, New Orleans snapped a 2 game losing streak, and I expect them to win this week.

Game Pick:

Bears 25 Saints 28

Vikings (4-4) @ Falcons (4-4) - Sunday, Nov. 5 - 1:00 PM ET

Jaren Hall will lead the Minnesota Vikings, when is first ever start, as they take on Desmond Ridder and the Atlanta Falcons. I think that Minnesota will run the ball a lot, as they don't want to make the rookie quarterback do to much. I would be surprised if this game isn't very closely contested, as neither team is that much better that the other. I think the Viking narrowly get the win in this one.

Game Pick

Vikings 24 Falcons 17

Rams (3-5) @ Packers (2-5) - Sunday, Nov. 5 - 1:00 PM ET

Cooper Kupp and the Los Angeles Rams will head to Wisconsin, to take on Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers. Puka Nacua is listed as questionable for this game, but is expected to play, and I expect him to have a really big game today. I expect this game to be a blowout, as Los Angeles will be able to defeat Green Bay. Jordan, mobile have another bad game, and he will no longer be there starting quarterback after the season ends.

Game Pick:

Rams 37 Packers 6

Commanders (3-5) @ Patriots (2-6) - Sunday, Nov. 5 - 1:00 PM ET

Sam Howell and the Washington Commanders, will head to New England, to take on Bill Belichick's New England Patriots. I expect a blowout in this one, as despite neither team being very good Washington is clearly better than New England. Even though New England is favored, Washington will be in command of both their offense and defense. Mac Jones will have another lackluster game in this one.

Game Pick:

Commanders 33 Patriots 12

Colts (3-5) @ Panthers (1-6) - Sunday, Nov. 5 - 4:05 PM ET

Jonathan Taylor and the Indianapolis Colts, will head to Carolina, as they take on the Carolina Panthers after the Panthers got their first win of the season last game. The Panthers were able to beat the Houston Texans in a 15 to 13 dual, as Carolina move up to one and six. I don't expect their win streak to continue, though, as Indianapolis will dominate on the ground, en route to a victory.

Game Pick:

Colts 35 Panthers 24
