Jared Goff saw Williams wide open, and threw it. Early in the first quarter of a Vikings-Lions game, Lions quarterback Jared Goff saw rookie Jameson Williams wide open and threw it for a 41 yard touchdown. With 6:24 remaining in the second quarter, Jared Goff took a shot to DJ Chark down the left sideline. He caught it for a 48 yard touchdown. This gave the Lions a 14-7 lead, as only time will tell how many more big plays the Lions will get today.
