In has been just over 11 months since the Chicago Bears won a football game, but they were finally able to get it done on Thursday Night Football against Sam Howell and the Washington Commanders. There main wide receiver, DJ Moore had a career day, with 8 catches for 230 yards and 3 touchdown receptions. Fields threw for 282 yards, 4 touchdowns and a passer rating of 125.4. As for the Commanders, Sam Howell threw over 50 passes, for 388 yards, 2 touchdowns 1 pick, but took 5 sacks. Greg Stoman Jr. had himself a day, with a sack, tackle for loss, and an interception off of Howell. Washington's run game was nonexistent, as they only had 29 total yards. The Bears last won a game on October 24, 2022 against the New England Patriots on Monday Night Football. Next week, the Commanders will head to Atlanta, to play the Falcons. As for the Bears, they will host the Minnesota Vikings next week at Soldier Field.
