The Detroit Lions are ready to make their playoff run. After a 20 to 17 victory over the New York Jets the Lions improved to 7 wins and 7 losses, as they are currently the 8 seed in the NFC playoff picture. The Jets had a chance to tie it with 5 seconds remaining, as they attempted a 58 yard field goal, only for it to go wide right. Before that, on 4th and inches Jared Goff found tight-end Brock Wright wide open down on the right sideline. The play resulted in a 51 yard touchdown. The Lions will head to Charlotte to take on the Panthers, as the Jets stay at home to play the Jaguars.
