Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and the rest of the Nuggets are officially World Champions. It took a nail-biting Game, that ended 94-89, but Jokic was a able to knock down a layup with under 15 seconds left, gave the Nuggets a 5 point lead, and that didn't give it back. Jimmy Butler did not play well at all, going 0-5 from behind the 3 point line, and 5-18 from the field. This was part of the reason that the Heat lost. Nikola Jokic was named the Bill Russel Finals MVP, the 1st time that they presented the trophy since his passing. Jokic had a double-double, and Murray almost got one. He was only 2 assists short. This is the 1st ever time that the Denver Nuggets have been able to call themselves the NBA Champions. They will look to run it back next season.
