Game 1 of the NBA Finals is now in the books. The Denver Nuggets were able to have a lead for most of the game, and held on to win it by 9. After the 1st half, Denver got a 59-42 lead, with Jamal Murray playing great. The Miami Heat were able to cut down the lead to 10 multiple times in the second half, and with 2:32 left in the 4th, it was a 9 point game. Luckily for Denver, they were able to hang on, and Nikola Jokic was able to outdual Jimmy Butler 104-93. Jokic was able to rack up his 9th triple-double of the playoffs in this game. Game 2 of the series will stay in Denver, and the Heat will hope that Tyler Hero will be able to play in that contest. Jokic had 27 points and Murray had 26 in the victory. So now, we look ahead to Sunday's Showdown, when these squads meet again in Denver for Game 2.
