Kenny Pickett or not, the Pittsburgh Steelers defense came through. The Panthers could not get anything going on the ground, as their leading rusher Chubba Hubbard only ran for 10 total yards. Mitchell Trubisky had a turnover-free game and threw for 179 yards in the win. The Steelers still have a slim chance to make the playoffs, but this win sure helped. The Steelers did not have to go to Mason Rudolph because Trubisky played pretty well. The Steelers hope to get Kenny Pickett back for their game against Las Vegas for the 50th anniversary of the immaculate reception, as the Panthers stay at home for when they take on the Lions.
